For those that hate the fandom

As we all know, The furry fandom has this side of it that I like to call Furotica, which is a play on the word Erotica. In common form it is called YIFF Which stands for Young Incredibly Fuckable Furry. Now I don't know the orgins of the word, but I do know that there is a larger number of clean artists, than there are YIFF artists. Now when I say that, I mean the only way to be a YIFF artist is if a majority of your artwork is of nude anthropomorphics dojng sexual thing/posing sexually, as well as erotic writing. Yes, I have done some erotic writing myself, but in no way has it taken over the majority of my works.


You see, friends, What the media thinks of us is what they want you all to think too. When the fur conventions come to town, some media outlets purposely look for those furries that like the YIFF side of the tail (so to speak) and then act upon it, saying that a majority of us do that kind of stuff. Let me reassure you, that's not the case. Let me also point out that every damn fandom has it's erotic side. I bet you $50 that the things you like have erotic sides to them (An example that is as creepy as it may sound is the Pixar movie series Cars ())

So all those that hate the fandom because we're mostly yiffers, We're not. Shut up, grow up, and leave our fandom alone!
